Since the advent of the Kardashians, women have become obssessed with perfection. We have become a society addicted to clown contouring, extreme makeovers, and botox. It`s time that we unmask and love your natural beauty. Make-up should be used to accentuate and bring forward your best features, cover up minor blemishes and give you confidence. God created each one of us unique and beautiful. Beauty should start within and it`s time you learn to embrace who you are and love yourself just the way you are.
Follow these 3 simple steps for an enhanced version of yourself.
Apply your make-up in a bathroom, or in a room with natural light. Start with your basic skin care – cleanse, tone, moisturize and BB cream. Skip, moisturizer if your skin is very oily. Great skin creates the perfect canvas for your work. Make up will go on smooth and with minimal effort if you adhere to regular skin care routine.
Skip the foundation and opt for a tinted moisturizer or BB cream. Use concealer sparingly only on areas that need it such as under eye dark circles. Apply mascara, cream blush on apple of cheeks. On the lips, use a tinted lip balm or sheer lipstick.
The key to great, flawless makeup is blending. Makeup looks unfinished and trashy due to harsh, unblended lines created by eye makeup, bronzers or blushers. Invest is good quality natural fibre brushes.
Don’t let the make-up wear you, wear the make-up. It should never be used as a mask to hide your natural beauty.
